In the publicist category, Magyar Demokrata senior associate László Szentesi Zöldi, and in the
journalist category, Magyar Nemzet domestic affairs editorial staff member Pál Schwendt have
received the award.
Established last year, the award aims to recognise journalists who work to
inform the public through factual articles and reports based on real information while they also
promote and help preserve the traditional values of journalism. Members of the board who selected
this year’s winners included Radio Kossuth editor-in-chief Katalin Nagy, Mediaworks central editorin-
chief László Néző, PestiSrácok.hu deputy editor-in-chief Szilveszter Szarvas, and last year’s
winner, Karc FM and Szabadföld editor-in-chief Ottó Gajdics.
