Fidesz-KDNP may have acquired the absolute majority of votes and two-thirds of the mandates, reveals a telephone poll conducted by Nézőpont Intézet on election weekend.
The government parties will win the 2019 European Parliament elections in Hungary. According to the experts’ opinion of the Nézőpont Institute, in case the Fidesz-KDNP political alliance manages to successfully mobilize its sympathizers, the popularity of the government parties can reach 55 percent.
Fidesz-KDNP may top its victory from five years ago (54 percent) at the European Parliamentary election on Sunday, according to results from the latest poll by Nézőpont Intézet for Magyar Nemzet newspaper.
6 out of 10 Hungarians (59 percent) or nearly 5 million people have a good opinion of the US. Only 1 in 5 (22 percent) said they had a bad opinion, which is half of the Central European average (40 percent), according to a Nézőpont Intézet survey conducted in twelve Central European locations.
