With six months to go until the voting, István Tarlós has the biggest chanceto win the Budapest mayoral election, as half of the city’s residents (48 percent) said that they would support him if the elections were held this Sunday.
29 per cent of the voters inBudapest support Gergely Karácsony, while Róbert Puzsér is backed by 9 percent, as the poll conducted by Nézőpont Institute for the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet shows. The current mayorhas the stable support of almost half million people. The number of votersbehind Gergely Karácsony is just above 300 000, and Róbert Puzsér is favoredby around 100 000 people, according to the poll.
